3rd through 12th: Fall Field Trip to Bedner’s Farm
Dear Parents,
We are excited to announce our upcoming Fall Field Trip to Bedner’s Farm for students in 3rd through 12th grade! This will be a fun and educational day filled with outdoor activities, hands-on learning, and memorable experiences.
Trip Details
- Date: Monday, October 6th
- Location: Bedner’s Farm — 10066 Lee Road, Boynton Beach, FL 33473
- Cost: $45 per student
- Included: Meet and greet with farm animals, pumpkin patch, tractor ride, corn maze, sunflower field entrance, and one pumpkin per student
- Forms & Payment Deadline: Tuesday, September 30th
- Non-refundable: Please note that this trip is non-refundable
Payment Information
Payments may be submitted via Zelle to dsaenrichment19@gmail.com.
Please include your child’s full name and classroom in the memo.
Important Notes
- Attendance: Students not attending the trip should remain home that day, as all teachers will accompany their classes.
- Arrival Time: Students must arrive by 8:00 AM. Late arrivals will not be able to attend.
- Lunch: Students may bring a packed lunch, or enjoy the provided sandwich option.
- Pocket Money: The farm’s market offers soup, sandwiches, and salads (approximately $7–$10) for those who wish to purchase extras.
- Attire: Students are encouraged to wear their House Shirts for the trip.
- Return: We plan to return by regular dismissal.
Chaperones
Chaperons are welcome to join us! Please note:
- Chaperons must meet us at the farm (address above)
- Cost: $27.50 per chaperon, payable to the school at least 5 business days prior to the trip.
- Please speak with your child’s teacher or call Ms. Monica at the front desk for chaperon arrangements.
Next Steps
If you would like your child to attend, please notify your child’s teacher via email or ClassDojo. A permission form will be sent home for you to complete.
