Lower School: K – 5th
Our elementary program aims to develop solid foundations in all Core subject areas (reading, math, etc.). We continually monitor student progress to determine strengths, weaknesses, and work diligently to achieve balance. Students will also acquire skills in thinking (both creative and critical), exploration, problem-solving, inquiry, and observation. Through what we have coined as TEPIO, learning is transformed from a conventional setting to a more practical environment. An example of this is through our weekly program, “Knowing and Living in My Community”, where students visit and explore neighborhood landmarks. This is just a glimpse of how hands-on learning is actively implemented at the initial stages of learning at Dickens Sanomi Academy
